What can I say!!! I was treated like a King. My very first experience of Mexican festivals. What a dream. The whole team were awesome and I got to rinse out a 5 hour set of reggae and dancehall on possibly the best stage I’ve ever worked on with Steve Bedlam, DanTsu (Lyrix Organix) and ReggaeRoast (Interrupt and Natty Campbell)

It was luxury!!

What can I say, another amazing year. Yes it was Muddy. Yes it was hard work but it was one of the greatest experiences. Thank you to all the crew that made it possible. All the Common staff and RumShack Family my partner in Crime DanTsu (D) Lyrix Sub System smashed it all over the ball park. Big Love to the Big Dawg Steve Bedlam and one of my favourite sets with Bedlam and Family where J-Star, YT and MauMau jumped up on the set.

Big Love to all my GhettoFunk Family…. Big Up Chris Tofu, Will and all the crew in Shangrila we killed the Heaven stage.. The place was rocking. Big Love to the dudes who climbed the speakers to show me love. Highlight. Legends!! I won’t forget that in a hurry. To all the punters..You Rock!!! Rain was not going to put us off!

So the year finally gets moving…

Announcements… Firstly the Second Hand Audio EP is out and its amazing.. Thank You Gents for inviting me along for the journey… Features a Track I’m proud to have made. Its such a bonus to have artists that I have grown up respecting on there and to continue building with the GhettoFunk family. If truth be told Slim wrote the chorus! Long Story.. One day I might tell it!

Good to see my two favourite nutters and King of the Sticker Bombers Too Many T’s on there as well.. Leave me alone boys!!!!! Stop following me….

I will be returning to host the GhettoFunk Nightclub at ShindigFestival this year as well as I’ll be popping up on a few sets. All will be revealed if you’re there!!! If not… Why Not?! Its genuinely one of the best Festivals the UK produces!!! The lineup is next level and the vibes, well , we always bring the vibes…

Massive Love to all the crew: Lyrix – Dan, Tim, Joanna, Nico, Fitz and Henry, Tom and Mickey on Sound, Bar staff – especially Jack. Ian (Who I went and watched the Moody Blues with instead of Kanye – Yeh we’re Gangsta!) Ryan and of course Kerry, Mel, Zoe and the Don Dada Steve Bedlam. Extended Love a gratitude to the whole common, you ALL made this year a blessed experience.

Also Big Shout to Shangri La Family and Chris Tofu – we smashed Heaven and then went on to have the first ever Live Ghetto Funk Comedy DJ set in House of Come Ons – If you were there you know , if not.. Well..you missed out! Big Shout to Profit for calling on the stage invasion and generally making my festival more fun than ever.

Finally to top it off I get a lift home from Dave Pemberton. Blessed….

Natty Speaks freestyles at The Bigger Picture. He asked the audience to write a word on a post-it note, then went on stage and incorporated each into his freestyle. He killed this rap challenge!
